John Abraham is returning with the sequel of 2011 hit Force to be directed by Abhinay Deo.

While Force was a remake of Tamil movie Kaakha Kaakha, Force 2 will have an original script and will be produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The female lead has not been finalised yet but will likely be a new face as Genelia D'Souza, the female lead in Force, was shown dead.
Shah, who has had a good run at the box office with Commando, Force and Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, is looking forward to reuniting with John and giving the audience a power-packed sequel, said a statement.
The film will go on the floors around September 2015 and will release in early 2016. The leading lady of Meanwhile, John's period drama based on an Indian footballer has been delayed.
Director Shoojit Sircar who is busy with the post-production of Piku, has reportedly put on hold his period drama based on an Indian footballer, starring John Abraham.
The film titled 1911 was announced few months back with much fanfare.
According to reports, the producers had planned to start the film in the latter half of 2015. But since it is a period film on Mohun Bagan's historic win against an English football club in 1911, a lot of VFX will be involved. Thus the film will be delayed.
